25-year-old Han Xu is one of China’s most accomplished basketball players as a two-time Olympian (2024 Paris Olympics, 2020 Tokyo Olympics). Xu has absolutely dominated the world stage, collecting gold, silver and bronze medals in the 2021, 2023 and 2025 FIBA Women’s Asia Cups respectively, alongside a second silver medal in the 2022 Cup. Based on her 2025 performance, Han Xu was selected on the All-Star Five. In 2019, Xu was drafted at pick no. 14 by the New York Liberty in the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA), playing three seasons with the squad, and as an instrumental player in claiming the 2023 Commissioner’s Cup Championship. Following her WNBA court-time, Xu played two seasons playing for the Women’s Chinese Basketball Association (WCBA) with Sichuan scoring the title of MVP in 2021 and 2022, and claiming back-to-back titles in 2023 and 2024.
